National Album Day announced their first ever mural competition in June of 2025 - inviting artists and designers from across the UK to submit their concepts inspired by the theme of 'rock music,' in association with Bristol’s heavy metal bar The Gryphon and Black City Records, 

What followed was an incredible display of the UK's artist talent from across the music community and beyond.  

We received an incredible number of designs from all over the UK. From pieces inspired by the great rock and roll legends to colourful and creative creations. Our winner [LINK] was selected by a panel of judges and will be displayed on the wall of The Gryphon to celebrate National Album Day and the rock community.
